Safety Shield Ltd are safety specialists providing safety advice and safety services throughout Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. Our services can also easily be provided further afield when required.

We are a long-established Health and Safety Consultancy based in Nottinghamshire, who are specialists in supporting small and medium sized businesses who do not need, or cannot afford, to employ a health and safety manager.

We provide practical safety management systems, including drafting workplace risk assessments, fire risk assessments, safety policies and delivering in-house safety training. All services are bespoke to meet the specific needs and requirements of your business.

The Directors are Fellow Members of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and Members of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). As required from early 2011 both Directors are registered on the Occupational Safety and Health Register (OSHCR), this demonstrates to businesses that Safety Consultants they are using have met with specific standards required by the Health and Safety Executive and other professional bodies. The Company also holds the Worksafe Health and Safety Consultant membership certificate, after being assessed by SMAS and meeting with the requirements of the Core Criteria standard (stage 1). The SMAS are members of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) forum.

They are also active members of the Newark & Sherwood branch of the Federation of Small Businesses, the Newark Business Club and the Nottingham Occupational Safety and Health Association (NOSHA).
